i think the reason why winter feels uncomfy about considering karina as a friend is that she never really saw her as one. i mean sa kanya na nanggaling na she’s not sure if she wants to be close to her in a way friends are. siguro, unknowingly, what she has for karina is never just something friendly; something na pwede maderive in her usual thoughts about rina, how she finds her the prettiest she’s ever seen (like? come on…), and in her actions like the staring
and nag-upgrade na nga, now napapansin na rin niya yung neck ni karina HAHAHAHAHAHAHA one of the many body parts ni ate ganda na fave ni baby gay 🤭
also, i feel like dito pa lang karina’s already been noticing the possibility na winter might be gay, with the way she looked at her after ng statement ni giselle about rumors about rina being gay just cause she was passive in dealing with chaeyeon’s advances

ung ngising intrigera ni ning sa dulo bwahahahahahaha!!! kasi namannn bat may titigan enebeee. and even before that pareho nila inoobserve yung isa’t isa. si rina, noting how winter’s face is expressive. and si baby gay na buhok, leeg, and fit ni ate ganda pinapansin. pero ang kumuha ng korona ay ang: so what’s your type ni karina. had to pause reading kasi kilig nanaman si aq!!! gusto ko sabihin kay winter na step up, baccla, pero dense talaga tong diarist natin.
kakatawa rin ung inner monologue ni winter and pagookray nya kay ning, ginawa nya na rin to sa previous chapters e, pero as their friendship evolved, ung pang ookray ni wintot kay ningtot with fondness na. like ung pag iisip nyang bagay kay ning ang witch outfit, alam mong she’s thinking it for the laughs na lang unlike dati na totoong imbyerna sya kay bes lol.
also, i think ito ung chapter which made giselle’s character memorable to me. very straightforward si bff g! and ung back and forth nila ni rina, may point sila pareho but iirc kay rina ko mas umagree the first time i read this. not until baby gay commented on the situation as well, sound advice nga naman so it’s not surprising na this is what pushed rina, among other factors (iirc according to her thoughts/sentiments), to actually talk to chaeyeon. and if tama rin pagkakaalala ko, nung first time ko binasa to and giselle said ung “…turned gay suddenly…” parang may pa sinking feeling in my stomach situation ako kasi kala ko she’s homophobic. nafeel ko ung pagiging uncomfortable ni winter suddenly, kung di pa klinaro ni giselle ung point nya haha.
bawat character talaga sa snbb, naiintriga ako, ang ganda kase ng pagkakabuo nung mga personality nilaaa

i think what i liked the most sa SNBB is that na-establish lahat ng personality ng characters kaya wala yung mga parang out-of-this world na plot twist. You will understand each character and bakit ganun yung mga naging decisions nila as you go through the story. It also gives them the chance to grow and develop, and as a reader, you will also have those realizations na “ah, that makes sense”. I really think that’s what sets this story apart. God-tier writing.
