This is a lot to take in. Her reason still can’t justify their wrongdoings. She went through a lot, but her way of coping is not it. She became an evil person when she wished for Irene’s mom’s death. Let’s not talk about how shitty the man that she has chosen is. Seriously? He dared to cheat, and he can’t even decide which family he will stay with. What did he even think about their situation? They can all live happily under one roof? With both of his families? He even judged Karina and Irene’s preferences regarding romantic relationships. At least those two women can do better than you. I’m so pissed sa kanya ha.
As a first time reader, wow this chapter is a lot to take in. Mommy Ganda and Daddy chickboy were both wrong for what they did. It’s so unfair to their children, Irene, Karina, and Eunwoo.
There will never be a reason good enough for people to cheat. It’s just so wrong in every aspect. I’m just glad the kids have great people around them. And Karina being a very loving big sister to Eunwoo despite everything just shows how big of a heart she has.
I don’t think there will ever be a reasonable reason for being mistress. As much as I love Karina’s family (eccept her stepdad 🙄) Karina’s sentiment about her mom telling them na wala silang kasalanan but always using them as the reason why she settled being a mistress was so on point. This chapter, honestly, was needed not because the readers need to understand mommy ganda’s side, but to show how the things she did affected her daughter so much and how it might affect Rina’s relationship in the future or how things in her relationship with winter might trigger this bitter reality that she is in. Never will I understand cheating nor being a mistress. No matter what reason you have-clearly it is a selfish act. Had mommy ganda really thought of her daughter’s well-being, she wouldn’t choose that path where her daughter’s name would be tainted forever.

This chapter was a lot to take. As someone na iba manginig ang laman when it comes to cheating, grabe ‘yung galit na naramdaman ko sa ginawa ni Mommy Ganda and Daddy Chickboy. Kawawa ang mga bata. Sila talaga pinakadehado kasi nadamay sila sa sitwasyong ‘di naman nila pinili. Thank you kay Winter for being there with Ate Ganda. : ( <3
yeah….nag init ung mata ko and ulo ko. on one hand you can understand where mommy ganda’s coming from, but at the same time you really don’t. kasi kahit balibaliktarin ang mundo, nakasagasa sila ng tao e. lalo na yan si daddy chickboy, he’s the most selfish of them all. na kahit nga magkaroon pa sya ng “thoughts” chapter, i feel na no redemption for him lol. lalo na may unnecessary comment pa sya sa relationship nina winter and karina, like it’s not about you, sir! but way to make it about you… as always! and everything about this is just so heavy all throughout. lalo na ung confrontation ni rina and her mom. these children (karina, eunwoo, and even irene) don’t deserve to be caught in this crossfire but unfortunately, involved tlaga sila dito. and this is such a difficult read lalo na when you know the context, the damage this relationship has done to irene’s family and rina’s well-being. sa kabilang banda, magiging thankful ka na lang tlaga na they have people like giselle, winter, seulgi, and all their other friends who are there for them. so ayun, i like this chapter kahit na i avoid it as much as i can when i do re-reads before, kasi it gave us a glimpse into the mind of mommy ganda, people society usually has no sympathy for, and it’s nice to know what she’s thinking and feeling even for once.
